Effective: August 01, 2022
Laurel Veterinary Clinic is committed to high quality customer experiences. Due to the high and increasing demand for surgeries, specialist visits, and new client appointments, late cancellations and no shows prevent our patients and clients from accessing the care they need and deserve. Therefore, effective August 1, 2022, we will be requiring deposits for the appointments mentioned above.
Reminders/Confirmations: Laurel Veterinary Clinic strives to be on time for each client’s scheduled appointment. As such, we provide appointment confirmations upon scheduling and courtesy reminders. We appreciate similar courtesy from our clients and request them to arrive on time for all scheduled appointments.
Surgery and Specialist Deposits: To help relieve hospital stress and conserve resources, upon scheduling a surgery or a visit from a specialist, clients will be required to deposit $200. This deposit is non-refundable and will be credited towards the final cost of the surgery or specialist visit.
New Client Exam Deposit: Additionally, new clients will be required to provide a $50 deposit upon scheduling an appointment. This deposit is non-refundable and will be credited towards the final cost of the appointment.
We understand that life happens, and we ask clients meet the following deadlines for cancelling or rescheduling surgeries, specialist visits, or appointments.
- Please call more than 48 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a surgical procedure, specialist appointment, or a new client appointment. Doing so more than 48 hours before the scheduled procedure will allow clients to transfer their deposit to the rescheduled appointment
- Clients who cancel within 48 hours or do not show up at their scheduled time will forfeit their deposit of $200 and will need to restart the scheduling process.
