What excites Alysa the most about veterinary medicine is the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working with a team of professionals, as well as honing her clinical skills, which includes completing her training to become fear-free certified. One favorite aspect of the veterinary field that Alysa thoroughly enjoys is interacting with both the animal patients and their owners. Alysa will also be studying to earn her associates degree in Veterinary Technology to pursue her career path as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Ultimately, she aspires to become certified to work as a specialist in canine rehabilitation.
From a young age, Alysa has always had a passion for animals, and in particular, a close affinity with dogs. When he’s not at the clinic, Ace is doing alpine activities or backpacking with his fiancé. He’s also big on board-game nights with friends, and he works as a paramedic when he’s not in the clinic.
