Laurie Walter, Practice Manager
Laurie has been with Laurel Veterinary Clinic since 1999. Being a native of Colorado she enjoys camping, spending time in the mountains, and traveling. Laurie has one son and daughter in law and two newly adopted grandchildren from Uganda along with a sweet grand dog named Jewels.
Claudia, Senior Client Care Representative
Claudia has been in the veterinary field since 2008, she joined Laurel Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2014. She is excited to work with our clients each day and meet their four legged family members. Outside of work, Claudia enjoys volunteering with the Colorado Rabbit Society, hiking, running and traveling with her husband, daughter and 8 year old Shepherd mix.

Ariel, Client Care Representative
Ariel was born in New York but has lived in Colorado for the past 10 years. She is currently pursuing a BA in Sociology and Criminal Justice at University of Colorado Denver. Though she is new to the veterinary industry, she has grown up with 2 dogs and a rabbit. Outside of work, she loves to ski, hike, cook, and do yoga.
Krista Cook, Client Care Representative
Krista is a Colorado Native. She graduated from PIMA Medical School in 2002 with a Certificate for Veterinary Assisting. After leaving the veterinary field for 6 years to work in the human medical field, she was called back to caring for animals. In her spare time, she likes hiking, and exploring all around Colorado, with her husband & 2 kids. She also enjoys crocheting and spending time with her 2 cats (Madball & Domino).
Rebecca Firth, Client Care Representative
Rebecca is a Pennsylvania native who recently moved to Colorado to be closer to family. She most recently worked in human medicine as a pharmacy technician, but after many years of volunteering at animal shelters, she is excited for a new career in the veterinary field. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dog Ali, spending time with her two young nephews, and traveling.
Christine Petersen, Client Care Representative
Christine was an Illinois native, but completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kenosha, WI at Carthage College. She received her degree in music and psychology, while also pursuing her love for animals and veterinary medicine. Christine has had the privilege of working in small, large, exotic, and zoological veterinary medicine as an intern/assistant. She also worked for two years as a client service representative at a 24 hour referral center while completing her Bachelor’s degree. Christine moved to Colorado to pursue her Master’s degree in music therapy at Colorado State University. She is working concurrently on another Master’s degree in trauma and crisis counseling. Outside of work and school Christine enjoys her pets (Luffy, Penny, Deliah, and Rona), going on long walks, Essential Oils, and reading.
